Karen Stern
Karen
Stern's years of professional experience allow you to rely
confidently on her entertaining and performing skills. She
is equally at home performing classical music or more contemporary
love songs and show music. Ms. Stern began performing with
the New Jersey Symphony in 1982, while still a college student
at the Manhattan School of Music. She has been heard in numerous
recitals with the Levin/Stern Flute and Harp Duo, both in
this country as well as abroad. Karen has performed at countless
private engagements throughout the New York metropolitan area,
and continues to be in great demand by numerous musical agencies
and private clients.
Additional Musicians
Flutist
Sharon Levin,
together with Karen Stern, won the Artists International 1987
Young Artists Chamber Music Award, and the duo has been actively
performing ever since. Additionally, Ms. Levin is principal
flutist with the New Jersey Pops Orchestra. Besides performing
classical and popular American music, Ms. Levin has a special
interest in Latin music, and regularly performs in Brazilian
and Ecuadorian trios.
Violinist
Jeffrey Ellenberger
has performed as a classical soloist and orchestral musician
in the USA, Europe and Asia. In the field of popular music
he has worked with Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Diana Ross.
He plays regularly on Broadway, in shows such as Les Miserables
and Beauty and the Beast. Mr. Ellenberger also plays the viola.
Cellist
Gerall Hieser
received a Master of Music Degree from the Mason Grosse School
of the Arts, Rutgers University. Ms. Hieser teaches cello
at Drew University and performs regularly with The Gabrielle
Piano Quartet and the Colonial and Westfield Symphonies, of
New Jersey. When she is not busy playing the cello, she can
be heard playing bluegrass music on the fiddle.
